Demo build 0.9.4 liveWishlist Tidewright
Independent studio / Ghent, BEEst. 2019

Small strategy games, built on a square grid.

We are nine people in an old print shop by the canal. We make turn-based games you can read at a glance and still be turning over a week later.

Three released, one on the board.

Each game is one rule set on one grid, tuned for years rather than months.

03 / StudioHow we work

Four rules we have not broken yet.

  1. 01
One board, read at a glance

If a screenshot cannot tell you who is winning, the rules are too clever. We cut until it can.

  2. 02
    No hidden dice

Every outcome is visible a turn ahead. Losing should feel like your idea, not the game’s.

  3. 03
    Ship small, patch for years

Pocket Siege got its 41st update this spring. Small games are how we can afford to keep caring.

  4. 04
    Forty-hour weeks

No crunch, no exceptions, including launch. The schedule bends; people do not.
