How we play

Short calls, early reads, and nobody shouting after a lost round. The review is where we argue.

The path in

From open queue to main stage, in four quiet steps

Every player on the current roster came through the same door. It takes about six weeks.

Why calm wins

“We lost round one of the final 0–13 and nobody raised their voice. That is the whole reason we won the next two maps.”

Tryouts FAQ

Before you apply

Anything else goes to tryouts@ashgrove.gg and a coach answers within two days.

Do I need a minimum rank to try out?

No hard floor. Most trialists sit in the top 2% of their region, but we have signed players from below that because their review notes were better than their rank.

Is the trial week paid?

Yes. Every trialist receives a flat €400 stipend and we cover travel if the week runs at the Leiden house.

How many hours a day does the team train?

Six on a scrim day, never more than seven. Rest days are not optional and nobody streams on them.

What happens if I am not signed?

You get a written review from the coaching staff within ten days, with the three things we would work on first.
